Today we want to share this selection of the 10 best free-to-play browser MMOs that most caught our attention in February 2014. In comparison to last month, there have been quite a few changes, including a total of four titles that have managed to appear in our top 10 once again or even for the very first time. This is the case of newcomers Herokon Online, League of Angels and KingsRoad and Forge of Empires which is back again. There are also other MMOs that were able to maintain their position, such as The Settlers Online and Travian, while Pirate Storm and Battlestar Galactica Online moved down a bit.

10 - Herokon Online
Herokon Online is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG set in the tabletop campaign world of The Dark Eye. Taking over the role of a budding heroes, players can journey through the land of Aventuria to seek out their fame and fortune while battling dangerous creatures and terrifying evils.

Pirate Storm is a free to play, browser-based, MMO game set in the era of pirates. Also playable through Facebook, alone or with other pirates in their guild, players must face monsters from the darkest depths of the ocean and greedy, enemy pirates.
8 - Travian
Travian is a browser based strategy game where players chose from three tribes (Romans, Gauls, or Teutons) and form alliance, make war with each other and race to construct a Wonder. Only by skillful management of resources and cunning diplomacy can players hope to defeat the AI controlled tribe of Natars and claim victory.
7 - Forge of Empires
Forge of Empires is a browser-based strategy game that allows players to create a city and develop it from the Stone Age and onward throughout the centuries. Players can create a vast empire through military campaigns and skillful dealings.
6 - The Settlers Online
The Settlers Online is a browser-based free-to-play strategy game set in the Settlers Universe and is available to play now. Players are able to settle a new city and join thousands of gamers already online to create or join guilds, trade resources and acquire and exchange bonuses to help each other out along the way to building a mighty kingdom.
5 - League of Angels
League of Angels is a browser-based free-to-play fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game that puts players into the shoes of a chosen hero predestined to defeat the Dark Lord and put an end to his reign of terror. During their journey, they will come across a variety of angels that need to be rescued to have them join your cause and assist you in combat.

In Anno Online players must manage their resources wisely, expand their territories, and create a commercial Empire. To achieve this you must cooperate with your allies, and your guild, build or hire a fleet and conquer new lands. In addition to satisfy the needs of the population, players will have to unlock new buildings, discover and claim new Islands, and connect them with trading routes.

Battlestar Galactica Online is a free-to-play browser MMORPG which puts you in the cockpit of a spaceship as human or Cylon to join the battle between man and machine across the galaxy, with intense space combat and cutting-edge 3D graphics. There are multiple ships to command, with a huge variety of upgrades and customisation choices. Also, varied progression options that offer the freedom to create your ideal Battlestar Galactica character.
2 - KingsRoad
KingsRoad is a free-to-play action massively multiplayer role-playing game in which you take on the role of a Knight, Wizard or Archer, which present the game’s three dynamic classes you can freely switch between without the need to create another character. You will embark on an adventurous journey across the fantasy world of Alderstone, fighting off the threatening malice forces that terrorise the realm. Along the way, you will loot useful items and gear, level up your classes and get access to various features.
