NCSoft has announced that on January 19 is will officially launch Blade & Soul in Europe and North America; in addition, they have announced its next Closed Beta weekend which will begin on 24th November and will run until 30th November.

The game has a strong eSport's presence, which was reflected in the "2015 World Championship" that took place in Busan, South Korea, and they have announced that shortly after the official release of the game in Europe and North America, they will begin the european and north american Pre-season rankings, so next year European and American players can participate in the World Championships.

Finally all players who have a purchased a Disciple or Master Founder’s Pack, can choose their character's name on January 11, while all those players who have purchased a Founder’s Pack can start to play the game on January 15, four days before the official release date



“This is a big day for us, as we’re able to share the official launch date of Blade & Soul for all Western players”, said Tim Granich, senior director of Marketing at NCSOFT West. “We’ve already had tens of thousands of players in our first two closed beta weekends, and look forward to welcoming many more beginning with the next beta weekend on 24th November and all the way through launch”.
