EVE Online has released the Citadel expansion, introducing player created cities in space that act as player-run trade hubs and defensive strutures. Watch the trailer below in which we get to se a dramatic picture of the cycle of life and death. The video includes a song by CCP's in-house band Permaband.

Players can build these massive cities almost anywhere in the universe and they offer several customization options. The largest ones are pretty massive, offering room even for super-capital ship docking bays.

But that's all. The expansion also brings several changes to capital and supercapital warfare, including new superweapons, new modules and a class of four new Force Auxiliary hulls. It also introduces a full overhaul for station hangars and new billboards in space.
