Ankama has just announced plans to release an entirely animated 3D version of their PvP strategy title Krosmaster Arena for internet browsers and mobile devices, which is scheduled for launch in early 2015.
This new version is supposed to provide an improved gaming experience and additional features while still allowing players to integrate the Krosmaster figures they have purchased in blind or window boxes into their deck. There will soon be a new season of figures available in European and North American stores.
"The first version of Krosmaster Arena was launched in order to offer players a way to train and play online with some friends", told Olivier Comte, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Ankama. "Following the success of the brand, we want to give players the game that they deserve by updating the graphics, adding new features, bringing it on news devices but keeping the same gameplay that makes Krosmaster Arena attractive to strategy fans."
Since their release in December 2012, the Krosmaster figures, the boardgame as well as the online version of Krosmaster Arena have attracted a regular fan base, allowing the brand to take its place among the fastest growing ones regarding PvP strategy games.
