WEBZEN has just communicated today’s beginning of open beta testing of MU Rebirth, allowing everyone with an active WEBZEN account to check out this exciting new adaptation of its highly praised predecessor MU Online. Still based on the traditional gaming style of the original fantasy RPG, MU Rebirth profoundly focuses on PvP and features a seasonal reset system that provides players with new motivation in each season.

MU Rebirth seizes on the popular MU Online features, but introduces faster levelling and heavier PvP action. The Rebirth feature enables players to make their characters even more powerful upon reaching level 400 by starting anew at level 1 to accumulate more points while all their stats remain the same.

PvP is the prominent aspect of the game, where top-ranking players will be fighting in seasonal competitions. Each season will hold a different theme, and the winner will be awarded the most valuable prize on their MU Online account. At the beginning of each season, volunteers will also organise smaller tournaments for players.
