Eclipse, the 6th expansion for Perfect World has been announced to be released on December 16. Players may look forward to the introduction of a new race along with 2 new classes, a new starting zone, new instances, a new random instance system, new rank 8 equipment and interface and quest optimisations.
The Eclipse expansion marks the appearance of the new otherworldly Nigthshade player race, the origins of which can be traced back to the Reapers and thus the god Pan Gu himself. Along with their arrival, 2 new classes will become available, the scythe-wielding Stormbringer and the sabre-equipped Duskblade.
With this new expansion, players will then moreover start their journey in the beautiful Celestial Vale, which, being the starting zone for all players, will be a vibrant and busy region.
In addition, the brand-new Random Instance System will provide players with randomised maps, scenes, monsters and bosses each time they enter one of the new dungeons, creating completely new intriguing content. All this is topped with rewards that can be earned and used for upgrading the brand-new level 8 gear, advanced order gear, and Level 16 weapons.
Eclipse will furthermore introduce a plethora of optimisations, including the interface, the entirely revamped beginner guide, the inventory interface, and most of the UI elements such as how players gain new skills.
