Hi-Rez Studios  and the metal group MANOWAR have teamed up to bring true battle feelings to SMITE. In addition, they have released a new video, in which the gods of the game fight with the rhythm of the MANOWAR song, The Sons of Odin.

The game is currently in beta stage, and it will be launched in the first quarter of 2013.

“MANOWAR has a rich history in fantasy and mythology”, says Hi-Rez Chief Operating Officer Todd Harris. “We shared our vision for SMITE and decided to start with The Sons of Odin track with more music to come, including original compositions by Joey DeMaio and MANOWAR.”
