World of Tanks Blitz has announced that on September 28 is going to begin its first global tournament, that it will have the name of "Rise of Continents". The tournament, sponsored by Sennheiser will last four weeks and will pit players from North America, Europe, Asia and the CIS.

The tournament will consist of 4 stages, and each of them will last a week. At each stage each faction will have to meet certain objectives (such as the faction with most tanks destroyed and most victories) to get region points; at the end of each week, these counters will be tallied and at the end of the competition the scores for the previous weeks will be compiled and an overall winner will be declared. The best players of the tournament will receive prizes, including 240 Sennheiser headsets, in-game gold and premium account. Everyone is invited to participate in the tournament by simply playing.
