SYNOPSIS

WARSTORY: Europe in Flames is a free to play, browser-based, strategic MMO in which you lead a powerful company through the chaos of World War 2. Fighting alongside the Americans or the Soviets to liberate Europe from the Axis. You must Win the race to Berlin and decide the outcome of the war for you and your forces.

Become part of the large-scale allied offensive and fight in decisive battles on all European fronts.

REAL TIME BATTLES

Engage the dangerous Wehrmacht in action packed real time battles. Use powerful special abilities like airstrike or MG barrages. Develop flexible tactics and use the cover of forests, hills or ruined cityscapes to your advantage.

Assemble individual units, equipment and officers before each battle, and engage in exciting real-time battles against Axis units.

COMMANDER

Create your own, individual commander. Accomplish difficult achievements and collect rare titles in order to make your commander into a world-famous veteran.

BATTALIONS

A battalion consists of a maximum of 10 members. In order to avoid the military regulations it’s possible the increase the limit with gold donations. A battalion give you the possibility to coordinate you better, e.g. in our own battalion chat. You can also compete with other battalions for the first rankings on the war targets.

The founder of the battalion is the major and he has full control, especially the most important: he decides, in which operation the battalion changes after Berlin fell.

I like the colourful graphics and the fast paced real time fights.

pro:
* the tactical real time battles; the AI is really clever and the battles remain exciting until the end
* cooperation: only if your side cooperates, you will have a chance to liberate cities from the germans
* cool graphics – the art is really nice
* wide range of customization possible: units can be equipped with all kind of weapons, ammo and enhancements; officers can learn individual skills that influence the way you play in battle

con:
* because of its depth, the game requires some time until you know how everything works. But it has a real good tutorial, every item has tooltips and other players are always willing to help, so it’s definitly worth it.

Conclusion:
I have been playing right from the start and I am still surprised how different units influence the way you play. recommended!

You know, I ve played a lot Browsergames so far and this is still one of the besser ones. Even though I dont like fighting in WW2, since its an overused setting by far, Warstory still is somewhat interesting. There is a lot to learn in the game and the Community is nice, too. The battlesystem is pretty interesting, but you get the knack after some time and the AI is easily defeated from there on, even on more difficult levels. I would recommend, that Bigpoint takes a closer look there, but otherwise, the game is still a lot fun. You just at least try it out for once.

As I really like the setting the games is one of my favorite games at the moment! The beginning was a little bit confusing, didn’t know what and where to go, but later it rocks! There are some very exciting battles at the capital cities sadly real pvp is missing, would really improve this game! Well… the game has reached v2.0 recently and there are many improvements been done sind v1.0 (yes, I play this game for a looong time ^^).
If you like realtime strategies and the setting come to the EU server and join the allies forces ^^

very, very, very, very nice graphics compared to other browsergames! i also like that it lets me play battles in realtime, some of the later ones get really difficult and exciting. 🙂

Although this is truly the best browsergame published by bigpoint, I like playing eve online better.
