Civ World is a MMOG developed by the acclaimed game developer Sid Meier and Firaxis set to launch in 2011 on Facebook. The game is currently in Beta phase.

According to Sid Meier, Civilization World will offer "everything you enjoy in Civ in a fully persistent environment — you can play as much as you like, whenever you like, and it'll be free to play."
