Electronic Arts and BioWare have confirmed that the beta of Star Wars: The Old Republic will start the next September 2, to a very small number of users. Two details stand out from the beta: The first is that for now will only open its doors on weekends, but the idea is to gradually accept more users and expand these periods.

And the second, BioWare is inviting everyone to participate, then all users who have registered on their official website have the same chance to get into the beta, regardless of whether they have already reserved the game or not. Anyway, it seems that the most ambitious MMORPG of Electronic Arts continues to make progress in its development, though today remains very unclear when the game is going to be released.
