"We are very proud to celebrate this milestone with our community of players and offer goodies to every user, even new players," said Derick Chan, Product Manager for Perfect World International. "We owe all of the game's success to the fans that have helped it grow and plan to reward every single player regardless of how long they have been with us. We look forward to celebrating many more Perfect World International birthdays with our wonderful community."
This game has been spiralling downhill for a very long time. Constant sales of cash shop items have ruined the ingame economy, and we are constantly having somethign put on sale each week while long-time bugs are ignored. Recently, the game has been getting worse and an alarming pace. Censoring tons f players names, then putting on a 2x rates event during the issue. Then promises were made to fix the issue via next patch, then two weeks of skipped maintenance resulted in no patch. Thsi game also abuses facebook to advertise themselves. By making a post on your wall for them, you could recieve an item that helped your character greatly. But now, you are also required to “like” their facebook page. The blatant and awful disregard for Perfect World International’s player base, their concerns and complaints, combined with the complete and unbalancing focus on cash shop sales, has seriously left this game in the doldrums.
