Perfect World Entertainment Inc, today announced that Kung Foo, which has been in closed beta, will be relaunched later this year with a new expansion containing additional content and optimized localization. Based on Legend of Martial Arts, a popular MMO in China, Kung Foo! parodies the MMO experience in a fun and frivolous manner. In preparation, closed beta servers will be taken down on Tuesday, February 16.

“We want to thank all of our Kung Foo! closed beta testers for their great feedback about the game,” said Craig Beers, Product Manager for Kung Foo! “The closed beta reboot for Kung Foo! means that we will be able to implement players’ feedback so that we can provide players with the best experience possible. - Character Customization/Mounts – Mix and match your character; be a street punk, cowboy or a bit of both… while riding a crab mount with boxing gloves

- Transformations – Become a fierce, fiery dragon or a steaming pile of poop
