Hi-Rez Studios has announced that is going to officially launch its 3D MOBA game SMITE in Europe and North America on Tuesday 25 March 2014.

In addition to celebrate the launch of the game Hi-Rez Studios is going to celebrate a Launch Tournament on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March 2014 in Atlanta, where the top four teams in Europe and the top four in North America who will have qualified from the SMITE Weekly Tournament Series beginning on 4 January 2014, are going to battle for a prize of $100,000. This tournament will be broadcast around the world by Twitch.

All progress that players have made during the game's open beta before SMITE’s general release, will remain. In addition all players who reach level 30 before the launch date will get a unique skin for the playable god Ymir.
