Blizzard has just announced the official open beta testing start of its new free-to-play card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, allowing everyone in Europe to check out the game.
The company has implemented several new features they want to test thoroughly in preparation of the upcoming official launch. Player may now enjoy a revised ranked play mode where seasons last for a month, presenting the goal of reaching the top rank to become The Innkeeper.
Moreover, the player's friends list has received additional functions such as the recently played opponent feature displaying the last person players have competed against to be able to add them as a friend for future duels. The other new function allows players to detect other Hearthstone players on their local network that will be shown in their friends list as well.
