NCSoft and ArenaNet have announced the addition of a new map to Guild Wars 2: "Edge of the Mists" is scheduled for release on February 4. In this context, a preview trailer has been published introducing the realm of floating islands and its variety of terrain and landcapes.

With its icy mountains, cloud forests and crumbling temples, this new map presents players with a challenging territory to fight over for control. However, the Aetherblades, feared sky pirates of Tyria and minions of arch-villain Scarlet Briar, have also descended from their airships to the Edge of Mists, ready to fend off any intruders.
