KOG Games has communicated the launch of Season 5 for their side-scrolling action MMO Grand Chase, which will introduce new active combat dodge and combo systems, enhanced AI, revamped player characters, a new UI and more. The first phase of this multi-part update kick off today with the Character Separation patch.

"Even as a small developer, we've always done our absolute best to bring fun, new content to the players of Grand Chase," told Eugene Kim, CEO of KOG Games. "Now the time has come to let Grand Chase truly show its potential."

Character Separation allows players to use a completely separate UI and interactive environment for each of the 19 unlockable character, which means a massive improvement in order to not loose track of their accumulated gear for the individual characters.

Players are now able to keep a separate inventory for their individual character as well as a joint warehouse inventory. Inventories are moreover enlarged to 120 slots for each character. Character Separation also brings along individual quest logs as well as a streamlined UI design and more.
