World of Tanks will introduces races with its new Tank Rally mode, which will be available for players from September 29 to October 12 only, pitting them against each other on a racing track full of explosive action and destruction.

On an entirely overhauled version of the Port map, the new mode will see teams of three compete against each other. In addition to trying to cross the finish line and take control of a solitary point, they will also make every effort to destroy their opponents throughout the race. Brimming with ramps, explosives and other interactive objects, the track features sufficient opportunities for players to clinch the victory with each fired shot. All registered players will receive the custom-built M24 Chaffee Sport tank for free, which will be the only available tank for Tank Rally.

The new mode will be accompanied by the specific "Racer 2014" in-game medal, which will be awarded to those belonging to a winning team. Players may moreover look forward to a set of combat missions that will enable them to earn XP and credits.
