Blizzard Entertainment has just announced the launch date of the 1st Hearthstone expansion, which will be available on Windows, Max and iPad platforms on December 8 in the Americas while European, Korean Taiwanese and Chinese players will have to wait until December 9 to get their hands on Goblins vs Gnomes.

The expansion will introduce more than 120 new cards to craft, win, or purchase, all featuring the manic mayhem of Azeroth’s most mischievous machinists. Those cards are available for purchase as packs, can be earned in the Arena or crafted with dust. Working in the same way as classic card packs, the new ones will have an explosive new wrapper, and include brand-new cards
