We used this week to check out on Plarium Games’ latest strategic building MMO, Pirates: Tides of Fortune, which tasks players with establishing and fortifying their personal pirate stronghold as they engage in combat against other community member from all around the globe as well as tough AI challenges. After registering an account, the MMO quickly becomes accessible and entirely playable in any major browser.
During our first glimpse at the game, we tried out the tutorial and the initial gameplay and also explored several of the various features the game has on offer. Though being a pleasant change in regard to the typically sci-fi or fantasy-based building games, we were eager to find out if we would come across any new mechanics and features in Pirates: Tides of Fortune in comparison to its competitors in this particularly overdone genre.
