Psyonix and Square Enix have just communicated the official open beta start for Nosgoth: the F2P MMO set in the Legacy of Kain universe is supposed to be available to everyone worldwide starting 01/21/2015 at 6 p.m. GMT/ 7 p.m. EST.

Focusing on asymmetric combat, the game allows players to either choose the ranged human faction or the melee-oriented Vampire factions.

"Thanks to our highly dedicated and very passionate community, we've had an amazing journey so far," told Corey Davis, Game Director. "Our goal for the Open Beta is to deliver a fun and engrossing metagame and we realise that working closely with our community is the best way for us to balance and deepen the experience going forward. We are thrilled to see what the future brings!"
