We recently dedicated some of our time to have a first look at R2Games’ latest F2P browser game: Heroes of the Banner is the publisher’s first tower-defence title and tasks players with hiring heroes in order to have them erect their own towers to defend the player’s village while also gaining access to various abilities and spells to perform in battle.

Heroes of the Banner is all but unpromising; the impression, however is belittled by poor translations, bad music quality (while the sounding score as such would be fairly decent) and gameplay that put to much a focus on preparing things before only watching the battle take place without being involved much.
