In conjunction with the ESL (Electronic Sports League), S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 will introduce further leagues and events in order to expand what's currently on offer in the game. The major focus will be put on the ESL S.K.I.L.L. Pro League that has the top teams fight in 2 seasons for a prize pool of 30,000€ as a minimum. The 1st season will moreover culminate with its final being held at Gamescom 2015.

Serving as a springboard to the higher leagues, the ESL Open Cup and the ESL Open League are meant for clans willing to prove their prowess. In addition to the opportunity to win 3,000€ prize money each season, the top 2 clans of the Major League will be promoted to the ESL Pro League.

ESL TV will broadcast selected group matches, play-offs and finals of the ESL Pro League live on Twitch.tv.

Furthermore, the Go4S.K.I.L.L. Cup, an ESL Major Cup since December, will continue to run in 2015 as such. Every Sunday, clans will have the opportunity to win prize money of up to 200€.
