The new version of The Elder Scrolls Online, Tamriel Unlimited, yesterday launched on PC and Mac. The game moves to a one-time purchase business model (with an optional subscription) and expects players to come back. To lure you in, a new trailer has been released highlighting what's new and what have changed.

It wasn't a great year for TESO, but now it re-launches with a facelift. Tamriel Unlimited features the entire original game and all six major content updates since launch – including the new Justice and Champion Systems. All existing PC/Mac game accounts have been updated to the new edition so that anyone with an account, open or closed, can jump back to the game without game subscription fees.

However, Tamriel Unlimited also introduces a premium membership, ESO Plus, and the in-game Crown Store, where players can purchase customization and convenience items.
