Today, the Game of Drones update is available in Zombies Monster Robots, which introduces an enhanced levelling rewards system, a new competitive gameplay mode, 5 new maps and first and foremost drone companions. You may check out the corresponding trailer further below.

The latest update allows players to acquire mechanical companions that will follow them into combat in co-op modes, assisting them in their fight. The 4 unique drone types available have their won unique appearance and distinct skills, and allow players to customise them even further with modification and additional abilities to best suit their style of play.

These are the 4 types available: Dragondrone (electric bursts that damage multiple targets), Lazerdrone (fires laser beams), Thunderdrone (high-impact grenades) and Gatling gundrone (higher fire rate and lower damage).

The greatest change introduced with the update, however, is the entirely overhauled system of levelling rewards that will now reward players with more free unlocks, such as costumes, turrets, drones, permanent weapons and weapon mods, just for levelling up.
