Hi-Rez Studios has announced that at the beginning of the spring of 2016 Paladins is going to hold a Founder's Tournament in the Hi-Rez eSports Arena in Atlanta where players can compete for a prize pool of $100,000. In addition the next patch of Paladins will launch an early version of the Constructed Mode that will serve to lay the foundations of the game's competitive framework because in this mode players can fight battles on random maps using pre-defined decks.

Hi-Rez will choose four teams (two American and two European) to attend the tournament using a series of online events. Also starting in January the game will held a series of regular tournaments where players can win small cash prizes and get a chance to qualify for the Founder's Tournament.
