Gazillion has presented the 54rd playable character of Marvel Heroes 2015 (which soon will be called Marvel Heroes 2016): Iron fist, a superhero with amazing martial arts skills who is able to focus all his spiritual energy in his fists. Johnny Yong Bosch, known for having been the Black Power Ranger voices the new superhero.

The character will be making his live-action debut in a Netflix developed Iron Fist television series, the fourth and final in a series of shows that will culminate in a Defenders miniseries alongside Daredevil, Jessica Jones and his frequent partner Luke Cage.

"Danny Rand was tutored in the ways of martial arts in the mystical city of K'un-L'un after the death of his parents, driven by vengeance. He excelled at his training and was given the opportunity to take the sacred mantle of "Iron Fist" by fighting the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying, and then he chose to use his skills to help people."
