Legion Expansion Coming to WoW on August 30
Legion, the sixth expansion for World of Warcraft will be launching on August 30. Blizzard has announced the release date along with the pre-purchase packages: a physical edition, a collector's edition and two digital versions, standard and deluxe.
The expansion will be available in a €44,99 Standard Edition (physical and digital versions) and a €59.99 Digital Deluxe edition that includes in-game bonuses for different Blizzard games, including a Felstalker mount and pet for WoW, a Felstalker mount for HoTS, a helm transmog and wings for Diablo 3 and two StarCraft 2 portraits.
The retail-only Collector's edition (€79,99) will include the bonuses from the Digital Deluxe edition and the following stuff: a full-color hardcore art book, a behind-the-scenes Blu-ray/DvD set, a CD soundtrack, and a Legion mouse pad.
Those who pre-purchase Legion will get an instant level 100 character boost and early access to the Demon Hunter prior to the expansion's launch. Demon Hunter is the new class, a new melee hero class that incredible mobility and the ability to change into hellish forms.
The expansion follows the events of Warlords of Draenor, after Gul'dan unleashes a demonic invasion upon Azeroth. It will introduce artifact weapons, unique class-specific weapons with special abilities and traits, a new continent, and a new PvP honor system.
