Star Trek Online has launched today its 11th season, New Dawn, which adds to the game the new Admiralty system, that allows players to send their inactive ships to complete missions to get rewards, four new episodes for the rewamped Cardassian missions, and a new episode in the history of the game that starts a new story arc.

New Dawn begins after the end of the Iconian War, moment in which the players will contact with a lost civilization that is on the brink of disaster and a with a very mysterious time traveler. In addition the Admiral Leeta has taken this opportunity to lead an offensive into the prime universe.

“Star Trek Online has improved in countless ways since our original release in 2010,” said Steve Ricossa, executive producer of Star Trek Online. “We have 10 major seasons and 2 expansions behind us, and so much more ahead of us. We’ve dedicated ourselves to more Star Trek story and more Star Trek experiences for the coming year and Season 11 will be the start of it all.”
