To celebrate its 6th anniversary, Age of Conan is hosting a special event, acompanied by a huge PvP update: Festival of Bloodshed.

This brand new PvP system provides players with a host of new acticities, such as week-long PvP festivals every month, allowing them to compete against each other in multiple unique events. The system moreover adds new PvP quests and rewards, as for example a companion that taunts nearby opponents based on their number of PvP deaths.

The current anniversary event Shadows of the Past offers a new adventure for players to unveil a plot against King Conan himself as they travel back to the island of Tortage to discover the true power behind this new threat.
