Age of Wulin presents its different types of professions

Age of Wulin will soon begin its Closed Beta Testing and for that Gala Networks Europe has revealed new details about the crafting and professions system of the game. The professions of the game are divided into 4 categories, "Manufacturing", to manufacture objects, from weapons to armors or food, "Gathering", which serve to collect resources such as fisherman, Hunter or miner, and "Culture" and "Marketplace jobs" which includes some truly unique professions and range from chess player to beggar or musician.

Each profession in Age of Wulin has its purpose, so every player working in his or her profession contributes something to the Jianghu, the game world of Age of Wulin: While the contributions of the manufacturing and gathering professions are pretty obvious, there’s still a lot to be found within the cultural and marketplace professions. Musicians for example create buffs that will affect all bystanders. The more experienced they are in their job, the bigger the area of effect these buffs have.

Players will be able to learn and train in professions from each category, and thus can work in multiple professions. Shifus – professional trainers – can be found everywhere in the Jianghu. For a few coins they’ll be happy to pass on their knowledge to the players. Each job comes with in-depth training, though, and players have to gather professional experience to make their way through several ranks in each job.
