Webzen has released detailed information about the Mt. Hua competition which will be introduced to their free-to-play martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin with the Immortal Legends expansion in May.

In this new and interesting PvP tournament that will be held on a monthly basis, 32 dauntless combatants will compete to become a legend and be rewarded with the legendary Heaven-Reliant Sword, the greatest martial arts treasure. Other rewards for participants include outfits, unique titles and special bound martial art packs.

During the first two weeks of each month, players wil receive special invitation letters which can be exchanged for a corresponding amount of points that will determine entry to the competition. The more points, the higher the chance to enter the tournament.

The actual competition will take place the first Saturday after the 20th of each month, when the top 32 players with the highest amount of points will be paired up and prompted to enter the tournament to fight for glory and honour against other players, with the grand finale taking place on the top of Mount Hua itself.

Other players who are not actively competing in the event will be able to spectate the matches and make bets, which also adds to the excitement and drama of the competition.
