Snail Games has just announced plans to hold an invitational Alpha test for Black Gold Online on March 20. The company is looking for experienced players to playtest an earlier Alpha version of the game and provide constructive feedback for improvements.

Black Gold Online promises to deliver a ravishing visual experience, combining cross-cultural themes and motifs into an awesome artistic blend that mixes alternate neo-Victorian Steampunk with nomadic, oriental and high fantasy concepts. Players will be able to choose between the 2 raging factions of the Steampunk kingdom of Isenhorst and the fantasy realm of Erlandir, which provide 4 races and 8 playable classes.

Alpha testers will experience a dynamic battle system and intense PvP, including complex guild warfare, open world PvP as well as an all-out war between both factions for resources and energy. They will be able to freely switch between TPS and FPS modes and pick from an incredibly wide selection of customisable vehicles of war.

Moreover, immersive dungeons await to be explored and besides regular instances, there's also a particular challenge for adventures presented by The Chambers of Greed which combine PvE exploration with a PvP aspect, giving even the best teams a hard time to claim the treasure hidden inside.
