After an in-depth play-test of Anno Online for our review a few months ago, we thought we should come back to the game once more for a gameplay commentary of this F2P browser-based city-building MMO title that allows players to head off to an adventure as they establish their settlement in a new land where they have to fend for themselves and brave the elements as pioneers. With its in-depth features for acquiring resources and constructing buildings, the game’s focus is on evolving your modest initial settlement into the largest and most impressive city even seen on Earth.

When taking a first glimpse into the game, we checked out the initial missions and features that novices have access to while getting to grips with the layout of our village and the new buildings. We also learned the ropes of resource gathering and usage.
