During PAX Prime 2014, Trion Worlds has announced an official launch date for their newest free-to-play sandbox MMO ArcheAge, which is scheduled for release on September 16. Open Beta is planned to take place from September 4 to September 8, before founders will get early access starting September 12.

Open Beta will allow new players and veterans alike to check out ArcheAge without any invation. Those who already participated in the closed beta testing will get access to their already existing character and their timers on crops and taxes will pick up where they’ve left off. On September 8, servers will be wiped in preparation for Head Start, which allows founders a 4-days advance.
