My.com has announce that the latest expansion for Armored Warfare, Eye of the Storm, in now live bringing a wealth of new content to the team-based action MMO. This major update includes five, long-awaited, new progression vehicles, the new Waterway PvP map and community requested enhancements to both the ammunition game mechanics and in-game economy.
Eye of the Storm introduces a series of powerful Czechoslovak and Polish vehicles which players will be able to roll out in including the BVP Šakal, KTO Rosomak, KTO Rosomak M1M, WPB Anders and Wilk XC-8. Each vehicle possesses unique battle mechanics as they are leveled up, providing players with powerful skills such as the Spike-LR fire-and-forget guided missile system to employ against opponents. Regardless of which powerhouse players choose, all vehicles have excellent firepower (often with very high rate of fire) and mobility for their respective tiers.
The new PvP map Waterway, set in the Panama Cannel, tasks tank commanders with defending one of the biggest feats of engineering the world! Under siege by several hired mercenaries aimed at taking over the channel to attack and pillage the ships passing through, players must recapture Panama’s massive waterway and deal with the raiders for once and for all.
Additionally, Eye of the Storm also addresses community feedback to two backbone systems in the game. Enhancements are introduced to the way both shell damage works across the various ammo types as well as Economy changes that rebalance the rewards and their relation to in-game prices and costs.
