R2Games has announced that on Thursday, December 12 is going to begin the Alpha test for their upcoming beat 'em up MMORPG, Blade Hunter. From that day, players that participate in the open Blade can try this new action MMORPG.

The game takes place in a vibrant fantasy world, which blends modern MMORPG features with classic side-scrolling beat 'em up gameplay. Players who try the Alpha will have access to 3 different classes, the Knight, the Rogue and the Valkyrie, each with an arsenal of powerful abilities. The mechanics of the game will allow players to execute impressive combos on a wide array of enemies, including screen-spanning bosses inspired by myth and legend.

Although the game can be enjoyed alone, each hero can recruit and equip companions, join other heroes and form clans, which allows players to take any challenge. The most seasoned players may unlock BladeSouls, spirits of war that are able to change the course of any confrontation, time-limited multiplayer events and ranked cross-server PvP duels.
