Square Enix and Psyonix have just announced that closed beta testing for their f2p 3rd person MMO Nosgoth will begin on February 27. To celebrate this event, an additional game mode will be available to testers: Siege.

Throughout closed beta, players will be able to experience tactical, fast-paced combat and competitive and team-based gameplay in stunning environments brought to life by Unreal Engine 3. A plethora of customisation options allow them to personalise their characters to best suit their individual style of play. The title is supposed to be updated continously to add new character classes, game modes, maps, abilities, weapons, skins and so on.

In Siege, human teams are tasked with capturing specific locations and defending them against Vampires, while the later hunt down their human opponents to satisfy their blood-thirst. This is in addition to the asymmetrical, melee versus ranged Team Deathmatch mode that defines Nosgoth’s signature gameplay.
