WebZen has just released further information about the upcoming mentor system that will be introduced to Age of Wulin with the Immortal Legends expansion scheduled for May. Called Senior and Junior Brother, the system will allow newbies to team up with saisoned players to enjoy the game together and obtain special benefits from it.
The mentor system is meant to make progression simpler for those who have just started out and will allow veterans to gain special bonuses and precious reputation from helping their appretices understand internal skills. In order to benefit from this feature, players must belong to the same martial arts school and have a certain level of internal skills. Then, the veteran may become Senior Brother and look after up to 2 Junior Brothers.
Once the apprenticeship is formed, both side will take advantage: Junior brothers will be able to improve specific internal skills and also receive defence and health boosts when the Senior Brother ist online while both will be rewarded with a box containing precious items for every 5 levels gained in internal skills. Master and apprentices can also participate in special weekly quests.
Upon reaching level 25 with their internal skills, Junior Brothers will graduate and obtain special discounts for new internal skills. The Senior Brother will not only be rewarded with reputation but also receive a considerable amount of cultivation points.
The entirety of rewards and benifits is supposed to provide players with a game-changing social experience and to build up and strengthn the Age of Wulin player community.
