The Division's second expansion, Survival, is available today on PC and Xbox One. PlayStation 4 players will have to wait a little longer, since the new content will arrive on PS4 on December 20. This expansion is included in the season pass, but can be purchased separately.

Survival introduces a new way to play. Players get to choose to enable either PvE or PvP. In PvP players will be able to fight against other players in every region of New York, and they will be able to earn additional rewards. In PvE, PvP is disabled even in the Dark Zone.

Players will have to face extreme conditions. They will have to manage disease, hunger, thirst and cold. They will have to craft supplies and find clothes, water, food and medicine if they want to survive. But they will have to compete against other players trying to survive. Additionally, a new threat appears in the Dark Zone: The Hunter.

Update 1.5 also includes a new tier, six new high-end gear pieces and new weapon types.
