Battlestate Games has unveiled the Hideouts, a new feature coming to Escape from Tarkov this Fall, during the Open Beta. Players will get to build their own personal base from the ground up, which will be an integral feature of the game. In the hideouts they will get to restore health, store supplies, stash gear, access to merchants, research and other things.

Within the hideouts, players will need to add modules. There are 13 different modules in development, and each one of these modules will have unique bonuses. E.g. modules can accelerate skill leveling, increase the size of the cache or allow production of special items, such as medicines or ammunition.
