It was time to throw a glimpse into ArcheAge, an upcoming sandbox fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game that is published by Trions Worlds in the western world. Players are thrust into a fantastic realm full of monsters, magic and conflict where they are able to choose among 4 distinct races and customise their staring class with multiple additional skill sets available.

In closed beta testing at the moment, this free-to-play title already looks pretty promising, offering in-depth later game content including player housing, large-scale PvP and even nautical combat.

When taking a first look into the game, we created our personal catlike Firran race character and personalised it with the help of the game’s customisation option which surprised us in a pleasant way. We then stepped into the game world to have a look around and see what it was all about.
