GAMESinFLAMES announced today that the successful browser-based MMO Florensia in now finally available on Steam.

The free-to-play MMORPG Florensia is set on and around the sea. Players start out as Explorer, Mercenary, Noble, or Saint, and take part in various maritime activities such as building their own ships, fishing, and even large scale guild versus guild naval battles. Choosing from 12 different character classes, players can build ships from five different ship types. The game also offers a land-based component for characters that players can level up separately from their sea skills, making each game experience very customizable. Florensia is free-to-play with an item shop.

"Florensia successfully relaunched in 2015. Within a year, the user base quintupled and has been growing strongly ever since," said Achim Kaspers, General Manager GAMESinFLAMES. "The fans have been asking for the game to be available on Steam for a long time, and we're very happy to finally fulfil the wish of our worldwide community. This is the next step for us to further expand Florensia, along with additional and completely new content which will be released in the near future."
