For those who may not have their own airplane (i.e. the majority) there is a large market of free-to-play games that focus on flying and the air combat, with which we can do spectacular tricks or fight in exciting acrobatic mid-air dog fights with your rivals.

World of Warplanes, War Thunder and Heroes and Generals are clear examples of classic World War simulator type games where you pilot your own fighter plane. In these games the players get to unlock various different planes as they are progress through the game. Both World of Warplanes and War Thunder focuses especially on having a huge selection of aircrafts, and despite never leaving the cockpit, there are still elements of air to ground combat.
In Heroes and Generals players have the possibility to switch between air and ground vehicles, but flight is still a major part of the game and offers a much more rounded World War theme experience. Whilst different in theme Heroes and Generals is very similar in terms of gameplay toPlanetside 2, because players can play as infantrymen, tanks pilots or aircraft pilots. The futuristic theme of Planetside 2 makes the aircraft look like spaceships (although some of these ships still look like helicopters or bombers), but this does not change the fact that the dogfights are fun, and are a very important aspect in the battles, and many players are exclusively focused on playing as pilots.
Now we are going to talk about Allods Online that although despite not being a traditional aerial combat game, it allows you to build and control your own flying ships. In the game players may command their astral ships and engage in PvE and PvP fights; players can also recruit and train their own crew each of who have their own position and role within the ship. Astrals ships are neither a ship nor a plane… but they fly and it’s pretty damn fun so we thought we’d give it a mention!
Finally, when all is said and done, not every free to play plane game has to end in a fiery death, and popular browser based free-to-play game Skyrama has earned its place on the list just to show that. This management strategy game allows players to run their own airport, arranging flights between players and transporting cargo across the world in a uniquely social MMO where players get to unlock new planes like in World of Warplanes, but whereas in the popular war MMO you have to worry about being blown out of the sky in Skyrama your biggest concern is whether or not that storm cloud is going to delay your arrival time!
The problem with World of Warplanes and World of Tanks, they have Planes and Tanks that were never used in combat and also the flight characteristics and of the tanks too are totally wrong. If you make a game on WW2 at least do some history on the planes. They have like F2a Buffalos shooting down zeros, it was one of the worst airplanes in WW2 we never shot down zeros, also it should make you play on the axis side or the allies side but jts weird, you are bunched together on both games, they could have a game that taught you about the War, but it doesn’t at all. I have heard n00b so many times, and I studied war,and I know its some 23 old that doesn’t have a clue why? Because he thinks he’s awesome in a Matilda tank one of the worst tanks in the war and its not realistic with their calibers and what they have. I know their trying to make money but you could do that and still have it be correct. Like they have a 20 MM gun piercing a tank with 3 inches of armor, maybe if you hit the track or in the roof, but if its 3 inches that tank has a 50mm to 75mm gun and one shot and you would be toast. I made a suggestion for a hardcore mode, if you could like land a plane on a runway or takeoff or on a carrier also if you wrecked, your character is dead and you have to start over, if you can do it, like a tier higher plane and some gold, because I guarantee there would be a lot of splats on the runway, or having to go one on five with 5 tanks a tier lower, with the computer controlling them if you can beat it same thing if not adios. I just know alot about the war and they could teach instead of everything being wrong. Will try the others thanks
