In the Gamescom we meet with one of the developers of
Hailan Rising, the newest mmorpg published by Gamersfirst. The game have a skill based progression, with no levels. There are 4 classes in the game: Warrior, Rogue, Mage and Priest and each of these classes can later specialize in 2 subclasses. Every class can use all types of armor and weapons and can buy all the skills, even if they are not from it's class. In this case they will pay a bit more to buy them.
The main feature in this game is the PvP, the players can join a PvP match in less than 15 minutes every time they log-in into the game. There will be 2 servers, 1 normal and 1 hardcore (with full-loot). There will be premium accounts (you will pay some money each month and get premium). Secondary markets are legal, you can sell your in-game stuff on Ebay and this is ok for the staff of the game.
Closed beta will arrive in september and release it's planned for 2011.
