At GamesCom we had the opportunity to interview the CEO of Wargaming Victor Kislyi. We asked him about about the company, the industry, and their games. Unfortunately we had to share the floor with a reporter from another publication it wasn’t quite the one on one we’d hoped for so we didn’t get everything asked that we wanted, but Victor did a great job of telling us what he loves about his company, the industry and his games.

Victor was quizzed on everything from what exactly is the appeal with Tanks that have made World of Tanks such a huge success (particularly as that day was 4 years since the first commercial launch of the game) to how their free-to-play business model has evolved over the years. As well as this we also got Victor’s own opinion on the current status of World of Warplanes and how successful he feels it has been since its launch.
