Motiga has just communicated their partnership with Microsoft in order to bring Gigantic to Windows 10 and Xbox One. Available later this year (free of charge for Xbox Live Memberships owners), their latest F2P 3-D action MOBA game will feature cross-platform gameplay while the partnership allows Mortiga to access testing/ QA infrastructure for both platforms. Gigantic will moreover launch in multiple languages.
"It's gratifying to see our partners at Microsoft express the same enthusiasm for Gigantic that Motiga and our community have felt all along," told Motiga CEO Chris Chung. "The game itself made this collaboration happen, and we can't wait to get Gigantic in as many gamers' hands as possible."
"We're thrilled to partner with Motiga to bring Gigantic to Windows 10 and Xbox One," stated head of Xbox Phil Spencer. "We're always looking for ways to bring new, innovative experiences to gamers, and Gigantic being one of the rare games that appeal to fans across multiple genres is a great example of that."
"The game offers a variety of heroes that map to your natural play style and gives you opportunities no matter what your gaming background," told Motiga VP of Product Development James Phinney, the lead designer for iconic games StarCraft and the Guild Wars franchise. "With Gigantic, we've worked to create a game that feels fluid and natural to play, while delivering an entirely new competitive experience."
