Zero Gravity's space survival multiplayer game, Hellion, debuts today on Steam through the Early Access program. The game is available for $24.99/£18.99/€22.99 starting at 6pm GMT. Watch the Early Access trailer below.

Hellion is a realistic space survival game in which all in-game objects (from planets to ships) abide by newtonian physics and full orbital mechanics. Players will have to survive in the most hostile environment with very limited resources.

“Launching Hellion on Steam Early Access is a big step forward for us”, said Marko Smiljanic, Creative Director at Zero Gravity. “The PC player base is extremely varied and demanding so having access to it during the development process allows us shape Hellion into what sci-fi fans really want”.

During this first stage, players will be able to salvage modules in order to obtain resources to build their base, engage in PvP close quarters combat and experience zero gravity without restrictions. Future updates will add ship to ship combat, equipment customization, wound mechanics, suit damage and degradation.
