Players of Heroes & Generals now benefit from the latest update, which provides them with a number of significant content enhancements as well as a brand-new map. Reto-Moto have also released a trailer explaining the Utz update in greater detail.

Titled Utz after a high-ranked German general, the update adds the 7th map to the game: Forward Airfield, an assault map that blends close-quarters and longer ranged combat around and within an idyllic village at a riverside. The map presents 3 main objectives: the bridge providing access to the village, the village church and the airfield.

The Utz update furthermore introduces multiple changes to graphics and sound, adjustments to Combat Badges, severals modifications to semi-automatic rifles reducing their sway as well as more realistic and natural soldier movement.
