With the announcement of their 1st global tournament with a prize pool of $100,000 at least, HEX: Shards of Fate is intensifying their commitment to e-Sports. Regular ranked duels will allow every player to gain tournament qualification points. Everyone who has earned 10 points is eligible for participation in the tournament’s next round.
"We're increasing the focus on competitive gaming, as well as reaching out our thanks to the community. HEX has arrived and it's here to stay!" stated Carsten van Husen, CEO Gameforge.
Those who will be able to compete in the final will be determined by 12 online qualifier tournaments, which each qualified player is allowed to take part in for free. Contestants who get through to the grand offline final will be invited by Gameforge to determine the competition's winner at home with HEX Entertainment in Irvine, California.
In order to ensure that all qualified players will be able to take part in the online qualifier regardless of their respective time zone, these knock-out competitions will be held at various times at the weekend throughout a period of 2 months.
Please stay tuned for the precise dates for this tournament, which are soon to be revealed.
